I am happy to announce that the Visual Edwards Library has now grown to over 450 visualizations. The base set of 456 visualizations parallels Edwards’ Table to the “Miscellanies.” Key terms from each table entry were used to create visualizations spanning all 26 volumes of the Yale letterpress edition of The Works of Jonathan Edwards.
“Miscellanies,” no. a. OF HOLINESS. “Holiness is a most beautiful and lovely thing. We drink in strange notions of holiness from our childhood, as if it were a melancholy, morose, sour and unpleasant thing; but there is nothing in it but what is sweet and ravishingly lovely.”

The Visual Edwards Library is an online resource with a growing number of visualizations created with Visual Edwards software. Users of the Windows software have the option of instantly publishing their maps of The Works of Jonathan Edwards, vols. 1-26 in the online Library.
Heaven is the twenty-second in the Bright Shadows series of interactive videos which explores Jonathan Edwards’ notebook “Images of Divine Things.” The clickable elements that occasionally appear contain comments and links to entries in Edwards’ notebook.
